Glyn Marston quit smoking in 1993 and started running to help him kick the habit but it wasn't until he joined local running club 'SNEYD STRIDERS RRC' that Glyn's running went to a higher level.

The boasted ( as it does today) a wealth of advice and experience in training for running of any distance upto the 26.2 marathon but it was when Glyn started to take on ULTRA distance challenges that Sneyd Striders started to show great support in helping Glyn in his training and actually supporting Glyn on races such as the 55 mile London to Brighton and the 145 mile Grand Union Canal race.

Success was because of the support that this club gave Glyn Marston and without Sneyd Striders there may not have been the Glyn Marston we know today.
